A Light Breakfast "oatmeal"

My version of oatmeal. So yes I am Gain free and I don't consider quinoa a grain. According to my research and the fact that my body has no problem with it I consider it a seed or fruit of the plant. You should Google a picture of the plant its crazy. I have one on my computer that is dead, so yay for husbands, but if it wasn't dead you would have a picture in front of you. I don't want to steal some one else's picture on the Internet.

 

I always have fruit in my breakfast in some way. Today it's just blueberries and a small amount. Please drink lots of water I promise it is helpful I get pretty dehydrated easily and a whole night with out water will dehydrate any one. My normal breakfast is a smoothie which is another way to get fluid in you.(recipes to come)

 

2 cups cooked quinoa

2 tbsp of chia seeds

¾ cup frozen blueberries

1 cup coconut milk original so delicious

if you desire some more sweetness add some honey or maple syrup

 

every thing was in the fridge so I microwaved it but you can eat it cold.

Cook the quinoa the night before in water or if you need more flavor you can cook it in coconut milk.
