Biscuits and Gravy for Him and Her

I'm in Sacramento for a workshop

 

Need a solid breakfast? Have some good old fashioned biscuits and gravy. Except there gluten free.

There are two versions because my husband can eat a bigger variety than I can so Pick what version works for you.

You can make this with non dairy milk and with out the cheese if your need dairy free.

I added some kale because it never hurts to start you day with Veggies.

 

 

Biscuits For Him

 

1 cup rice

1 cup corn starch

¼ cup flax

1 cup milk

½ cup cheese pulse a little for on top

2 eggs

¼ cup oil

¼ cup honey

½ tsp salt

½ tsp baking powder

 

Pan 375ºF for 20 min

Muffins 375ºF for 15 min

 

In a bowl mix together all ingredients

pour into 8x 8 pan or in muffin pans

place in oven

 

Biscuits for Her

 

Herb Biscuits

1 cup almond flour

½ cup coconut flour

1 tsp salt

½ coconut milk

3 eggs

½ tsp salt

½ tsp baking powder

1tsp basil

½ tsp garlic Powder

½ tsp oregano

 

375ºF 14- min

 

Mix all ingredients in one bowl

Put foil on a baking sheet and oil it

take some your dough and make a ball and then smash it down on foil so its only ½ inch tall

repeat till you have 12-15 biscuits

Bake for 375ºF 14 minutes

 

Sausage 

 

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp basil

½ tbsp oregano

½ tsp sage

½ tsp chili powder

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp garlic

 

Mix it together

Form in desired shape 

Fry in pan

 

Gravy for Him

 

Juices from sausage

Plus about 4-5 tbsp of flour rice

Add milk in slow to desired thickness

 

Gravy for Her

 

Juices for sausage 

2 tbsp coconut flour

2 cassava Flour

non dairy milk

garlic powder

salt

 

Note on gravy either split the sausage juices and cut flours in half or just pick one that fits what you can eat and like.
