Beef Pea Pinches

Meatballs with a creamy twist

 

Pea sauce

 

2 cups peas 

2 onions

2 carrots

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp tahini

2 tbsp minced garlic

2 cups for boiling water

 

Cut your onion into fourths

Chop carrots (small enough so they can fit into your food processor)

Boil your onions, carrots till soft

Add peas into boiling water for 2 minutes 

Drain Water

Place all ingredients except carrots in your food processor and blend

Set aside

 

Meat pinches

 

 

1 lb ground beef

1 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic

1 tsp paprika

1 egg

 

Mash all ingredients

Form into meat balls

Place on a baking sheet

With your fingers create a large well in the center

Place your pea sauce in the well

Pinch your well shut or as much as possible

Garnish with carrots 

 

Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375ºF
