Last post was Savory Sauce, the sauce is simple, savory, and goes with a lot of meals. This recipe is a twist on the sauce and had chicken cooked in it. While the Sauce is very similar in this recipe, due to chicken and basil it has a more savory and less sweet taste.
Bonus it doesn’t take that long and is pretty easy!
Debone chicken(I was lazy and left the bone in the legs and wings)
Cut the Breast in half
Place onion in a large deep pan with oil and cook till translucent
Place in chicken and sear on both sides
Stir in garlic
Add in coconut aminos and teriyaki(both are by Coconut secret)
Pour in coconut milk
Add basil and salt
Add in kale
Stir occasionally and let simmer Until chicken is cooked through
Eat as is or eat over quinoa, Potatoes, Rice, or cauliflower
