I really like teriyaki but I can’t eat the teriyaki sauce I used to. I started to buy the teriyaki sauce by Coconut Secret. But I never cooked with it until recently. I had only put it on some food, that was already cooked, to add flavor.
The sauce is so much better when you cook with it!
This is not a traditional chicken teriyaki, I just uses what was in my fridge.
In a large deep skillet place in onions with some oil and cook till translucent
Stir in cauliflower
Place lid on to help steam you can add a little water (about 1/2 cup)
Meanwhile dice bell pepper(doesn't have to be green)
Slice or quarter the mushrooms
Add bell pepper and mushroom
Take chicken thighs and wiggle them into the pan, so that they are touching the bottem of the pan
Sprinkle in spices on
Pour teriyaki sauce over chicken you can add more then 1/2 cup if you want
Flip chicken once it starts to golden
Cook till chicken is cooked through
