Garlic Squash Burgers

I've been Enjoying experimenting with sauces from Coconut Secrets.

This time I used their garlic sauce.

I cooked the burgers in a cast iron skillet instead of a nonstick. So, the burgers got a little crispier. 




  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 onion

  • 3 small squash(green or yellow)

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 2 tsp basil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp garlic


  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup of squash and onion

  • 4 tbsp garlic sauce (two for meat, two for veggies)




  • Slice squash

  • Dice onions

  • Mince garlic

  • In a skillet cook your onions till they are translucent

  • Add in squash and garlic

  • Cook until squash is cooked through

  • You can start cooking your squash with the lid on to soften the squash faster

  • Add in Sauce

  • In a medium bowl add in beef, egg,and spices

  • Take 1/2 to 3/4 cup of squash and onion and mince it

  • Add to bowl 

  • Add in Sauce

  • Mash the ingredients in the bowl

  • Form your burgers

  • Cook on your skillet

  • Serve with lettuces leafs to make a bun

  • Or potato slices, real buns, or on top of what ever you like
