Coconut Power Balls

August 18, 2018

I treat these as a dessert but they are not that sweet. But, they are great for a snack to hold you over. I have one or two and I'm good to go. You can get away with a little maple syrup in them but I don't think the extra sugar is needed. If you are used to eating sweets all the time your taste buds may say differently. I eat these for the nutrient density they have. The fat holds me over and the nutrients in the seeds provides the resources my body needs. I hope you enjoy them as much as my husband and I do!

  • 3 tbsp coconut mana

  • 1 tbsp chia

  • 1 tbsp collagen peptides

  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut

  • 1tbsp sunflower seeds

  • 1 tbsp pumpkin

  • 1/2 tbsp flax

  • make sure coconut oil is mixed and not separated

  • place coconut mana in a small bowl

  • Add the remainder of the ingredients but to make string easier do it slow

  • If you don’t want to pry them off the plate you can place down some parchment paper or foil

  • Place on a plate with a spoon or small ice cream scooper

  • Place in fridge fill hard about 30 min

Then Enjoy
